AXLES
Propar Axle Transport Equipment EEC approved, 2 off per trailer,
tubular 127mm (16mm wall thickness) hollow round beams in hi-tensile
T16V material, heat-treated in three-piece configuration. Rate at 11
tons capacity. Foundation brakes and (Duron P2008/FERODA 3658)
420x180 “S” cam operated on automatic slack slack adjusters with ABS
braking system. Spring brake boosters are fitted to each axle. Brake
lining are manufactured to S.A.B.S 1056 specifications. Wheel studs
are 10 studs fitment on 335 PCD (pitch circle diameter). Bearing (21
roller) are interchangeable inner and outer 90mm diameter precision
ground parallel journals and bearing face-hardened. Axle track
length will be compatible with that of truck tractor at 1930mm.
Brake drums are machined from S.A.B.S 250 gray iron material
(BS1452-1990 GR300). Hubs are machined from S.A.B.S SG. 42 material.
