180mm S Cam brakes. Heavy-duty 15-ton capacity axles. 10 Stud on

Heavy-duty multi-spring suspensions 6-spring pack configuration for
3 axle. 9-blade 76mm wide and 14mm thick. This suspension is
designed specifically for abnormal load vehicles operating in
off-road, sandy and rugged conditions. Mechanical suspensions.
CHASSIS
Main inner 2 off fabricated I-beams with 130 x 20 “30 oak” top and
bottom flanges.
Main outer beams – 2 off fabricated I-beams with 100 x 16 “30 oak”
top and bottom flanges.
All webs min. 6mm thick. All joints suitably welded and re-inforced.
Full width, full depth cross members fully support heavy deck loads.
APRON PLATE
10 mm thick rubbing plate in BS4360 grade 300WA, suitably re-inforced
with channels. Fitted with 50mm king pin and block.
FIXED NECK
Full width fixed neck. Fabricated I-beams. Heavy-duty front rail.
Floor heavy-duty chequer plate.
FLOOR
Entire floor to be 6/5mm thick chequer plate steel.
EXTENSIONS – SWINGOUT DESIGN (STANDARD)
Mild steel fabricated swing out extensions are fitted on each side
of the lower deck extending the deck width from 2600mm to 3200mm.
Timber floor planks to fit extensions are supplied loose on the
deck.
HEADBOARD
A heavy-duty 850mm Fixed headboard with heavy-duty reinforced spare
wheel bracket behind headboard on deck with pressing welded to floor
to support spare wheel.
LASHING EQUIPMENT
Extra heavy-duty lashinglugs are fitted down the entire length of
the trailer including the neck, on both sides.
LANDING LEGS
Jost heavy duty series, 2 speed, high strength steel construction,
with heavy duty fixed sand shoe, near side operation. Rigid cross
bracing supports designed to withstand load at any angle.
TYRES & WHEELS
13 off on 3-axle lowbed.
12R 22,5 16 PLY tubeless steel belt radial tyres (including 1 spare)
in dual fitment in hi-tensile 900 x 22,5 x 10 stud offset wheel rims
are fitted.
AIR BRAKE SYSTEM
Two line air brake system with spring brake actuators on al 3-axles
and conforming to latest SABS 1207 specifications. ABS brakes and
automatic slack adjusters fitted.
BEAVER TAIL
A fabricated beaver tail is fitted to the rear of the trailer. Two
off heavy-duty, hand pump hydraulically operated, heavy-duty ramps
are fitted.
ELECTRICS
Standard 7 pin sockets in 12 or 24-volt operation with double tail,
stop and indicator “Truck Light” lamps. A number plate light is also
fitted. Reflectors, chevron boards and abnormal signboards with
flags are provided. Reflective tape is fitted to the rear and to
both sides of the lowbed.
TOOLKIT
1 Pair warning triangles. 1 wheel spanner and Tommy bar. An extra
large capacity heavy-duty toolbox is built into the area between the
main beams at the front of the lower deck.
PAINTING
A high quality Q.D enamel – minimum 2 coats on base primer coat
applied. Final colour to match your corporate colour. Payloader use the SALCOMIX PAINTING SYSTEM from the Glasrut Group of companies, part of the BASF Group. We are fully equipped with our own mixing machine, computer and all equipment to give you the perfect colour of your companies choice ( or a wider range of colours) with SOLCOMIX 603 – 2K acrylic topcoat(TPC-ACR). Giving an excellent weathering resistance, with a high surface hardness and good gloss. Now with our in house , colour-mixing laboratory, Payloader is able to satisfy your every paint requirement.
