CHASSIS
Manufactured I-beam construction in high tensile steel,
top and bottom flanges. Web plate 5mm and 6mm M.S. with stiffeners
where required.RUBBING PLATE & KING PIN
8mm M.S. rubbing plate with R.S. channel reinforcing
around king pin block as required. Standard 50mm king pin with
castle nut and split pin fitted.
BODY
Manufactured from 5mm and 3mm Corten 750 steel plate.
Floor section is 5mm Corten. 3mm M.S ribs are welded to pressed top
rail to support body. A stabilizer linkage system is fitted between
body and chassis main members. Body has full ribs each side.
AXLES
Propar Axle, 3 off per trailer, tubular 127mm (16mm
wall thickness) hollow round beams in hi-tensile T16V material
heat-treated in three-piece configuration. Rated at 11 tons
capacity. Foundation brakes are (Duron P2008 / FERODA 3658) 420x180
“S” cam operated on automatic slack adjusters with ABS braking
system. Spring brake boosters are fitted to each axle. Brake linings
are manufactured to S.A.B.S 1056 specifications. Wheel studs are 10
studs fitment on 335 PCD (pitch circle diameter). Bearings (21
roller) are interchangeable inner and outer 90mm diameter precision
ground parallel journals and bearing face-hardened. Axle track
length will be compatible with that of truck tractor at 1930mm.
Brake drums are machined from S.A.B.S 250 gray iron material
(BS1452-1990 GR300). Hubs are machined from S.A.B.S SG. 42 material.
SUSPENSION
Tridem F3 heavy duty spring mechanical suspension is
utilized, with rubber bushed equalizer beams for equal weight
distribution.
HYDRAULIC HOIST
A 5 stage, low pressure (1,7 bar) is utilized with front
of body mounting.
LEGGEAR
Propar Axle 2 speed, wind up leg gear is fitted, with
suitable cross bracing to the chassis for strength.
RIMS AND TYRES
12R 22,5 tubeless tyres (13 off inclu. 1xspare) complete
with 9.00x22,5 disc type rims, 11mm thick nave, 10 stud in dual
fitment.
SPARE WHEEL CARRIER
A single side mounted S.W.C is fitted.
TOOLBOX
A single standard toolbox supplied.
TARPAULIN
A roll over tarpaulin 800g heavy duty, roll-up bar and
lashing straps are fitted. A platform is fitted to chassis in front
of body.
BRAKES
Two line air brakes with spring brake boosters are fitted
to each axle. ABS braking system with automatic slack adjusters is
standard
REAR CHEVRON & TAILBOARD
Standard is a mild steel tailboard with chevron and light
boxes.
ELECTRICAL
SYSTEM
Standard 7 pin 12/24-volt electrical system with stop,
tail and indicator “truck – light” lamps. A number plate light is
supplied. Reflectors and reflective tape as required by law.
PAINTING
The trailer will be de-scaled and cleaned, primed and
painted with 2 coats of 2K Enamel paint to your corporate colours. Payloader use the SALCOMIX PAINTING SYSTEM from the Glasrut Group of companies, part of the BASF Group. We are fully equipped with our own mixing machine, computer and all equipment to give you the perfect colour of your companies choice ( or a wider range of colours) with SOLCOMIX 603 – 2K acrylic topcoat(TPC-ACR). Giving an excellent weathering resistance, with a high surface hardness and good gloss. Now with our in house , colour-mixing laboratory, Payloader is able to satisfy your every paint requirement. Payloader can offer a 1 year warranty certificate on each and every trailer on the paint system.
